Help me get seen and adopted!

American Shorthair Cat for adoption in Brooklyn, New York - Tiger

Tiger's Info...

Breed: American Shorthair Color: Brown Tabby Age: Young
Sex: Male Hair: Short

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Tiger's Story...
Tiger is a big boy! He is very sweet but gets spooked easily. He needs someone who can be patient with him and let him get used to you before he shows his sunny side. He is normally affectionate in his foster home, but he definitely is not one to kiss on the first date! He likes to be petted and is quite the lapcat once he knows you. Tiger is available for adoption or foster-to-adopt. Please contact for a chance to meet Tiger!

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
KittyKaretakers is a 501(c)(3) non profit which rescues cats & kittens in the Queens & Brooklyn areas of NYC and finds loving & caring forever homes for them. We are a completely foster-home based network; we have no shelter of our own. We intimately know the personalities of all our furry felines so that we can make the best match for your lifestyle!
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do many adoption events at various locales, please contact for further information or follow us on Facebook where we usually post our current adoption event locations & times! Currently we are regularly showing at PS9 Pets 169 N 9th Street in Williamsburg on Saturdays from 12-7PM and on Sundays in Park Slope at 135 7th Ave from 12-5PM.
Our Adoption Process...
All animals have been tested & vaccinated. All animals have also been fixed unless too young in which case we will arrange for this when they are old enough. There is an application and a small re-homing fee (to cover vet expenses) to adopt. Many of our cats are also available to foster until they find their forever homes! We also allow people to foster-to-adopt so they can give it a trial run, free of charge, for a couple of weeks before they finalize an adoption. If an adoption, for any reason, does not work out, we ALWAYS take the cat back. Contact us to get more information!
