Dominic's Story...
Hello! My name is Dominic and I am a declawed male approximately 2-3 years old. My rescuers believe I was probably abandoned as I was found in an apartment complex begging for food. I was starving and severely underweight for such a big guy at just 7lbs. It's only been a week and I already gained 4lbs! I am a very sweet, laid back and mellow guy. Rather than play, I would prefer to be curled up in your lap receiving and giving lots of love and affection. I am ok with other cats as long as they are mellow and laid back like me. I am unknown with dogs and would probably be better in a quiet home with no young children. If you would be interested in sharing your life with me, please fill out an adoption application for me or if you have any questions at all about me, please don’t hesitate to email KittyJunction@aol.com!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dominic, a Horsham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Horsham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Horsham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horsham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horsham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horsham paves the way for another one to be saved.
