My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boodles: 6-7 yr old male seal point ragdoll

March update: Boodles was rather glum when he arrived from the shelter. Polite but depressed, unsettled. Well not anymore!! He has definitely recovered his joy of life and is full of energy. He is a super nice happy boy, friendly to everyone including other cats. He
wants to race around and explore everything. These new photos show
what a long bodied big boy he is. He would enjoy a kitty companion and room to run. And a lap to sleep on when he is worn out. I wonder if his age estimate is correct .He acts like a 3 to 4 yr old just barely beyond his kitten stage.Great cat.

Look at the rich colors of this beautiful boy. And what blue blue eyes he has. He is a very nice boy . It is bad enough that his dad died and mom went into a nursing home but then he was left alone in a shelter. Everyone loved him there but they could see he was very stressed to be there. A shelter worker contacted me to see if I had room for him. I made room.

And what a nice guy he is. Boodles is doing pretty well given all he has been thru and we can see why the shelter wanted so much to see him safe. We had to grab our photographer friend, Michael , while he had a moment for us. "Quick I need a photo of Boodles before you
leave". We picked up Boodles from a sound sleep and held him
sideways like a baby to see if he would go limp as some ragdolls do .He was very surprised and not thrilled but still he was nice about it. He is mellow as ragdolls are known to be and has a sweet ,loving, gentle nature.

I have only just gotten him in to foster ( 12 / 3 ) and I do not know him well though I know how affectionate he is. He loves humans . He is a little low ,probably grieving his own lost home and caretakers which is only to be expected. He needs someone new to love and comfort him.

I will write more when I know him better, -if I still have him.

He eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

The last picture below is his shelter photo.

His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
