Dixie's Story...
Autumn is an adorable 8 month old pit bull....she was rescued by the amazing men of the Detroit Fire Department after being tied to the porch of an abandoned home on a 3 ft lead. She was severely emaciated and very confused....she has since put on some weight and is a very happy, sweet and loving girl! She gets along well with other dogs and kids of all ages, she loves attention and loves to play but is very quiet and mellow for her age! She has a pearly white coat with gorgeous blue markings and is very petite, only about 40-45lbs! She needs a home that will give her lots of snuggle time with NO cats or other small pets! Autumn is UTD on vaccines, spayed and micro-chipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Warren American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Warren, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
