Sex: Female Hair: Short
Cotton's Story...
Cotton is a very pretty girl with orange eyes who has been looking for her forever home for too long. Cotton can be very sweet, but also has a bit of a temper. We think Cotton would do well in a house with no other cats and no small children. Cotton was dumped at Trenton Shelter in May and has been waiting a long time in foster care. Will you give Cotton a chance at a new life?

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are saddened by the number of homeless cats out on the streets of Trenton and surrounding areas who continue to breed and struggle to survive each day. We aim to stop the reproductive cycle and make sure cats who do need to live out there are well cared for.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have special adoption events on occasion. We display cats and kittens weekly: Saturdays 11am - 3pm at South Brunswick NJ Petsmart and Sundays noon - 3pm at Fairless Hills PA Petsmart
Our Adoption Process...
We have an initial application and a reference check process. Fees range from $80 - $125. All cats and kittens are fully vetted and spayed or neutered before adoption, adoption fee reflects this. We do give discounts for adopting two or more cats together.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We are based in Trenton, NJ but we do projects across Mercer County. We are primarily involved in the trap-neuter and return of feral cats and also involved in rescue of kittens and friendly strays. We also pull cats from Trenton Animal Shelter when they are at risk and we help residents with subsidized spay neuter for companion cats living in Trenton.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cotton, a West Trenton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Trenton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in West Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
