Toby's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Toby's Story...
Toby is a PRECIOUS, PRECIOUS little boy!!!! He is about 4 months old and has received his first shots, a Bordetella vaccine, and a Rabies vaccine. He has also been neutered. He was rescued recently from a high kill shelter in Arkansas and is currently being boarded at our vet clinic. He is working on potty training and leash training. Toby is very sweet and loves people and other animals. He will be great for any family. He does have some skin issues that we are working to resolve through dips and medications, but nothing that will be permanent. We have put Revolution on him for flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His breed is a guess. He could also have some Yorkie or Shih Tzu in him. I do believe he will be a non-shedding breed, but can not guarantee this. At this time, he does not shed. Please do not inquire if you are looking for a hypoallergenic dog as we are not sure. He will be ready for adoption on December 22 if his skin heals as we expect. His adoption fee is $450 plus transport. The transport fee is $125.
This fee helps pay the cost of his vetting and boarding. He is in Arkansas and we use Alpha Dog Transport to bring our dogs/puppies to the northeast. They stop in NJ, CT, and alternate each week between VT and ME.

Please email psiloveyouar@yahoo.com for more information. Include your number and I will call you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Glastonbury Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
