Elliott, a 7 month old Shepherd Mix, is a very sweet boy! He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes, kids, toys, rocks, bugs…whatever! He is a typical puppy. A little on the shy side, Elliott quickly warms up to everyone he meets, human or dog. There’s not a mean bone in his 45lb body! He knows how to sit & lay down, is crate trained and does well when left in the yard to play.
Elliott is the sole survivor from countless litters produced at this one property in the Fifth Ward. He and his mom lived in an overgrown yard and kept to themselves, under the house, in order to avoid human contact…a survival instinct in this area! They had to endure rocks & sticks being thrown at them and when Elliott finally came up with bullet wounds, we knew we had to get him out of there immediately! He is fully up to date on all shots, neutered and fully recovered from his wounds. Watching him enjoy life, you’d never know the horrors he’s had to endure in such a short time.
Elliott would LOVE to go home with you and make you happy for the next 10-15 years! If you are interested in him please go to our website at www.forgottendogs.org and fill out an adoption application or email his foster dad at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to specify that you are looking for Elliott!!! Thanks!
