Henry & Helen's Story...
Meet Henry and Helen. From their foster mom: They are what is known as a "designer" breed and unfortunately they ended up like too many of them do. They are a boxer/boston terrier mix and are about 7-8 months old. They look just like boxers in the face and have long boxer legs but are boston terrier size. They were recently found outside of my work and appeared to have been dumped. They were literally skeletons and starving to death and covered in fleas. The good news is they aren't starving anymore! These are VERY bonded and cannot be separated they are the best of friends. They are very friendly and love people and warm up to other dogs quickly. If you are interested in them you can email me directly at aliciaaff@yahoo.com or you can go to our website at www.forgottendogs.org and fill out an adoption application and specify Henry and Helen. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry & Helen, a Porter Boxer/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Boston Terrier for sale in Porter, or seeking a Boxer/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Porter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Porter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Porter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Porter paves the way for another one to be saved.
