Acme's Story...
Hi, my name is Acme. My mom, me and my twin brother were wondering the scary lonely streets of the fifth ward when some nice ladies rescued us. Thank goodness because it was getting very cold and I was getting very sick. They took me to the vet and now I am healthy and have a chance for a great life!! I'm about 5 months and 6 pounds now, they say maybe I'll be 10-13 full grown, but you can never know exactly. My mom is a cute 11 pound terrier, chihuahua mix. I'm pretty sure I am extremely cute and sweet because everyone keeps telling me. I can't wait to find a family to love me and keep me warm for the rest of my life! Can you be that family for me? I am now with Love Puppy Breath Rescue but if you are interested in adopting me please e-mail and we will put you in touch with them. Be sure to specify that you are interested in Acme!! Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Acme, a Porter Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Porter, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Porter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Porter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Porter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Porter paves the way for another one to be saved.
