Louie's Story...
Hello, I am Louie, I am only 11 pounds, and extremely sweet. I am NOT a yappy little dog. A good samaritan found me on the streets and took me in! Can you believe, a cutie like me on the streets, left to fend for myself. But since my foster mommy took me in, life has been sweeeeeet for me, and I love having a nice foster home. I am about 18 months, up to date with shots, heartworm negative and on hw preventive, neutered and fully vetted. I really love to be petted and be on peoples arm like a baby. I also love to play with the other dogs in the house. I have so much love to give. I am really sweet.....and don't have a mean bone in me. If you would like to meet me please call my mother at 713-416-2118 or e-mail her at fripounet@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Houston Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
