Prince's Story...
Prince and Priscilla are very young and very friendly dogs. They are both people and dog friendly. In their foster home they are in with 7 other dogs and both play well with all the others. They are sweet and loving and love to romp and play with each other. We think they may actually be siblings as they showed up in the streets together at an apartment complex. We had been providing food for the lady who fed them and when Priscilla went into heat we decided to get them off the streets and into a foster home. Both are altered, both are heartworm negative, and both are up to date on all shots and rabies. Either or both of these sweet dogs would make a wonderful addition to any family! Please contact if you are interested in meeting either of them. Thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Porter Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Porter, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Porter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Porter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Porter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Porter paves the way for another one to be saved.
