Prince's Story...
Prince and Priscilla are very young and very friendly dogs. They are both people and dog friendly. In their foster home they are in with 7 other dogs and both play well with all the others. They are sweet and loving and love to romp and play with each other. We think they may actually be siblings as they showed up in the streets together at an apartment complex. We had been providing food for the lady who fed them and when Priscilla went into heat we decided to get them off the streets and into a foster home. Both are altered, both are heartworm negative, and both are up to date on all shots and rabies. Either or both of these sweet dogs would make a wonderful addition to any family! Please contact kmiller@therealestatechoice.com if you are interested in meeting either of them. Thanks.

About Our Rescue Group...
We rescue in a low income area of Houston called the 5th Ward. We founded Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward Project about a year ago to address what we saw as an obvious need to help the many stray dogs we were seeing in there. We set up feeding stations and network and pull as many as we can when a foster home or no-kill rescue group says they can take them in. One of our goals is education and we provide residents with vouchers that cover the complete cost of having their animals altered and vaccinated against rabies. In addition, we provide other vaccinations and worming in the field free of charge. Since November 2011 we have grown in size and have rescued over 250 dogs and a few cats from the area. We are launching a program called Habitat for Hounds through which we will donate doghouses and blankets to residents for their dogs that are kept outside. Our website is forgottendogs.org and we are a 501c3.
