Claire's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Claire's Story...
Claire was found alone on the streets of Manhattan when she was 7 weeks old. A good Samaritan picked her up and took her to NYCACC. This spunky girl will eat anything, but especially loves pig ears. She is a play-bow-queen and will hold the pose for a half a minute just waiting for one of her foster siblings to play. Her favorite toy is her Chiweenie foster brother, Bernie. Claire is a spit-fire of love and has a lot of energy.

If you are interested in making Claire one of your family, our application to adopt can be found here:

www.rescue-a-bull.org/adoption

Our adoption fee for adults is $175 and puppies (6 months and younger) is $250. The adoption fee will be used to defray the costs associated with medical care for our dogs. All dogs in our care will receive spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), DHPP vaccines and microchipping before being placed in their approved adoptive homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Staatsburg American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Staatsburg, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Staatsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staatsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staatsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staatsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
