Nugget's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Nugget's Story...
Nugget is a 7 month old female Boxer/Pibull Mix. She is VERY sweet, energetic and playful. We prefer an experienced adopter that is familiar with her breed and the unfortunate stigma attached to it. She is currently being foster by a family with a 5 year old and they are the best of friends. Nugget has really attached to him and he takes care of her like she is his own. Unfortunatley, they are unable to consider adoption b/c they are expecting a new baby. So Nugget is very good with kids. She is playful, patient and pleasant....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nugget, a Columbia Heights American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Columbia Heights, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Columbia Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
