This is Muffin—such a pretty girl! She and her brother Rudy are kittens that were found in an abandoned apartment, living without food and water! Their owners were evicted and just walked away, leaving these two—so hard to believe that people can be so cruel. Luckily, a nice person took them in and raised them to be loving kitties. Muffin is a little shy at first but just needs a few days to learn to trust you. She loves to be held and is very playful. She is also very talkative like her brother. AnimaLovers was founded in 1995 by a small group of friends who wanted to provide needy cats and dogs in the Capital District of New York with a better way to find their way to safety and new lives. As of 2011, AnimaLovers is serving cats, only. AnimaLovers's mission is to:
* To provide housing, veterinary care, and adoption for unwanted, abandoned, injured, or stray cats;
* To educate adopters, as well as the general public, about the health and training needs of our companion animals;
* To promote spaying and neutering as an efficient and humane means of animal population control; and
* To advocate for legislation that will prevent cruelty to animals.
In addition, AnimaLovers has expanded beyond the boundaries of cat and dog rescue and adoption to meet the needs of other animals as well by creating programs to help families keep their companion animals healthy by providing low cost spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care.

Our adoption fee for each of our cats and kittens is $85. Call 518-448-5468 to learn if there are any special adoption fees.
