Owner surrendered because she had a torn ACL.
She was taken to the Orthopedic Specialist and had this Surgically repaired shortly after she came to the sanctuary.

As her name implies, she is a total sweety – fully housebroken and playful.
She “runs with the pack”. She loves all animals and adults and Children. Due to her hunting skills, we do not recommend a home with cats although she has not paid much attention to our Cattery here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caroline, a Port Clinton English Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Pointer for sale in Port Clinton, or seeking a English Pointer dog from a breeder in Port Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Pointer breeders who help with English Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
