Clooney the hunk. Clooney the ham. Clooney the heart. This boy is special, and he has quite the story. Clooney was someone's backyard dog. He was not given a lot of care or attention, and he was lonely and neglected. Someone saw him one day and could not let him live that way anymore. She asked his owners to relinquish him to her and named him Clooney.
Once forgotten, his fate changed and now his future is bright! Once covered in fleas and underweight, his eyes infected, with little contact or love, Clooney is now recovered and healthy and clean and thriving! Thanks to the fantastic, generous Village Vets and lots of people coming together to help, Clooney has really blossomed. He’s handsome with his brindle coat, and is so funny! He makes a terrific companion - mellow and easy going and loves sleeping on his dog bed! He never had one before now.
Clooney can live with pretty much anyone. He adores other dogs of all sizes, and he is also good with cats, kids, and all people! His foster mama likes to joke that he's the mayor, making friends with everyone. Clooney is about 6 years old, weighs about 60 lbs, is neutered and up to date on shots. He’s housetrained, walks nicely on a leash (no pulling!), and is just an overall well-adjusted, happy boy.
Clooney is oh-so loving and gentle, and now for once and for all he deserves an adoring home with people who will cherish him. Please contact Katya at (323)-559-5942 or katyalidsky@gmail.com if you'd like to meet Clooney the heartthrob!

"Science may never comprehend the full extent of what dogs know about language, problem solving, the past, the future, God, time or philosophy. In the end, we must content ourselves with the fact that dogs know enough to be dogs -which is all that is really required of them." - Dr. Stanley Coren
Regardless of where a dog comes from, The Penny Foundation believes all dogs are worth saving, their "issues" are trainable, and people really can learn new tricks.
