Jasper's Story...
Hello there, I'm Jasper. I had a happy home with a mommy and brothers and sisters. Next thing I knew, mommy was getting married and I thought that meant I would get lots more brothers and sisters since he had pets too! But unfortunately they had too many together so somebody had to go and they decided on me and my brother Artie. Maybe it was because they knew we were so cute and adorable that we would have no problem getting a new home!

So here we are and although we've met lots of fun new kitties and humans, we would like a new home to call our own. I'm very sweet and although I'm a little unsure of my new surroundings right now, it helps having my brother here to keep me company. I'm very sweet and loving though and I promise I'll be a good companion for you! And if you don't mind, can my brother Artie come with me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Dallas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
