Moki's Story...
Moki is a fun loving Chihuahua who loves to play with toys, other small dogs and to go on walks. He takes a little time to get to know you but he is worth taking the time so be gently with him. He loves to cuddle, sit on your lap and shower you with kisses. He also loves to sunbath and roll in the grass. He is as house trained as you want him to be. He is good with gentle children. He is approximately 2 yrs old. We think that Moki had a rough beginning in life, so don't take it wrong when he whines for food and attention. It will take him awhile to realize that this is his forever home. Please complete an application if you would like to meet Moki or come to one of our adoption events listed on our website to meet Moki.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moki, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
