Alvin (LE)'s Story...
Born around June 1, 2012, Alvin is a beautiful black and white boy. He is a cross between a teddy bear and a football player, with an incredible thick coat of fur and a full, solid body. He is going to grow big and strong, as his paws are the size of mitts! He has an adorably cute face, almost masklike, outlining his handsome golden eyes. To say Alvin loves his treats, is quite the understatement. Just rattle the bag, and he is at your feet patiently waiting. He loves to roll around on his back and let you pet his belly. He loves to play with his foster friends and his brother, Simon.
Alvin is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. About Our Rescue Group...
Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!

Our Adoption Process...
S.T.A.R.T. does require an adoption fee, a pre-adoption application along with signed contract once your application has been approved. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets please call us or access our pre-adoption application which can be located at www.startpets.net, click on "adoptions". Out of state adoptions require additional time pending our officers approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption approval.
