Dunlop's Story...
My name is Dunlop, and I'm a very handsome, lovable kitten. I had two brothers, but both of them got adopted already. I don't know why they did and I didn't, but sometimes life isn't fair. Or at least that's what they say! Anyway, I would be the perfect addition to anybody's family. I'm curious and playful and snuggly. I like to chase my tail, and I even catch it sometimes! My eyes are a beautiful gold color. I'm used to being around dogs, and I like to play with my foster mom's other cats. I can be just a tiny bit growly when I meet new people or animals, but it doesn't take me long to relax and start purring. Won't you please think about adopting me? I miss my brothers, and I would really love to have a forever home of my very own!

Dunlop was born mid August, 2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dunlop, a Kansas City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
