Claude's Story...
Claude and his brother and sisters were dumped in a dog crate with their mom on a hot day without food or water. He was very small and only had his momma to depend on until a wonderful couple took them in and gave them a safe place to live until they were old enough to be adopted. Now Claude, his brother Sid and his momma, Cleo are ready to go to their new homes to spend the rest of their days safe and happy.
Claude is very playful and sweet and would make a wonderful playmate for another kitty or to a family with children who will keep him busy.

Male: Classic Tabby
DOB: Oct. 2012

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claude, a La Canada Flintridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Canada Flintridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Canada Flintridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Canada Flintridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Canada Flintridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Canada Flintridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
