Mikimoto-Wauseon Cattery's Story...
Mikimoto is now 11 months old and still very much a kitten. Miki is incredibly sweet. Like many Siamese, he is a great climber and reverts to his arboreal heritage. He is a fun little fellow. One moment he is curled up on your chest--totally satisfied to be there--and the next moment he is racing a circuit around the room, batting his ball, pouncing on his mousie or snagging the feather wand. He is also a very chatty little guy. If he wants you, he calls until he finds you--or you come. Then he tells you all about whatever is on his mind. There is no more intense relationship than one can have with this kind of Siamese. But it must be undertaken with the awareness that you will matter desperately to a little guy who loves with his whole little body and his whole big heart. Mikimoto will be an incredibly rich source of joy to the right adopter. But for him, you can't just like Siamese--you really have to know them. Experienced Siamese owners only, please.... Sorry, but for Miki's good, that is non-negotiable. Call or text 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net if you are the right home for this special little guy.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.

Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
Come Meet Our Pets...
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).

We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikimoto-Wauseon Cattery, a Fairborn Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
