Bruce's Story...
This pup was born 10-23-12. This pup was born to a purebred border collie mom. We are not totally sure what dad was, could have possibly been another border collie/lab mix at the same home. This pup has been socialized since birth. We estimate the pup to mature to be around 40-45 pounds. We have started crate training and potty training.

This pup will go to it’s new home current on vaccinations, deworming, microchipped and with a certificate of health.

We do require a pre screen application to apply. You can get that on our main web site http://www.saveamuttkennel.info. Please read our FAQ page while you are there. It will answer a lot of questions for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Sussex Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Sussex, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
