Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Nicky's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Nicky's Story...
Nicky has kennel cough so won't be neutered until 1/3/13 and avl about 1/20/13 if his foster home doesn't adopt him.. Nicky came into the Carson Shelter as a stray on 12/1. His owner did not reclaim him and there was someone who expressed interest in adopting him directly from the shelter but didn't follow thru. We rescued him on 12/7 and he is now neutered, current on his shots and microchipped.

He's one of the cutest little corgi mixes ever. We will update his bio after he goes into foster care in the next couple of days.

Adoption process: completion of pre adopt ap, hmck, contract, 2 wk trial period, followup visit if placed in LA or OC and adoption donation of $225

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicky, a Lomita Corgi/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Corgi/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Corgi/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
