Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Disposition: High energy
Bowie is a zing-ping over-drive kitten. This active little boy likes to bat toys about, grab things and rabbit-kick them, and swat and dangling thingies. Then he crashes for a good nap.
He has also tested positive for Feline Leukemia, which makes him a special needs cat. He is vibrant, healthy, and loving. He can live a good life carrying this virus, but he is also a point of infection for other kitties. He is currently in a home where all cats are vaccinated against FeLV. He would make an amusing and loving companion as an only cat or in a home with vaccinated adults or other FeLV positive cats. We have no intention of putting him down because he is healthy and lively with many, many years of joy ahead of him.
Bowie came to us with his siblings and his mommy. They lived together in safety and comfort, but when Bowie was allowed to explore the entire house outside his room, it became apparent that he was a little wobbly, possibly with some kind of genetic neurological defect. But honestly, that never holds him back. He still pounces, runs, and hops into bed for bedtime. We don't even look for his funny walk anymore. He is who he is and he's a great kitten!
