My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toby is a wonderfully playful and sweet natured puppy. He likes to play and run, but is also very cuddly. His is very well behaved given that he is still very young. He loves people of all ages and would make a great family pet. He would be good as a second dog or as an only companion getting all the attention for himself. He is approximately 8 - 10 months old and weighs 30 lbs.

Toby is a very social and friendly pup. We live in an apartment so he comes into contact with other people and pets all the time and he is always friendly and welcomes advances and pets from anyone. He loves the attention! He enjoys meeting other dogs as well and gets along nicely with all he meets.

Toby has a moderate energy level - he can be calm and quiet in the home but is always ready and willing to go out on an adventure. He loves playing with his toy squirrel and can amuse himself nicely. He sheds very little and is a very calm and quiet pup.

Toby is learning his basic commands and knows to sit and shake a paw. He walks very good on leash and is fully house trained. He is crate trained and is very good in the crate just patiently waiting until we let him out. Sometimes he will go in his crate on his own just to take a nap or play with his toys.

Toby loves going for walks and although he gets excited to see his leash, when I leave the house without him he never puts up a fuss or tries to escape. He is a very well rounded, good natured little boy.

Toby is still a puppy and as such he will need someone to continue with his training and socialization but overall he is well on his way to being a wonderful friend and family companion.

Toby would be best suited for someone young who has the time to commit to him with further training and lots of walks, or possibly a young family with kids for him to play with. I think whoever ends up with this dog will be so lucky and he will make a wonderful addition to someone's home.

If you would like to make Toby part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
