Meet Buffy ! She is a beautiful pure bred South African Boerboel (South African Mastiff) looking for her forever home. Buffy's owner recently passed away leaving her without a home to call her own. This sweet girl is 4years old and weighs approximately 135-140 lbs. Buffy is currently living in a foster home with three other mastiffs and an eight year old little girl. Buffy loves people, big and small, and cuddles with them day and night. She is accustomed to sleeping in her foster's bedroom, and LOVES to sleep on the bed. Buffy is leash trained and housebroken. She goes on daily walks/ and or hikes. Like all mastiffs, Buffy needs structure and boundaries, as well as plenty of exercise and LOVE. Buffy does well with bigger dogs when properly introduced, but cannot be with small dogs. She is an absolute sweetheart that will be true and loving to her new owners from the get go. Please note that you must have prior bully breed/mastiff experience if you are interested in adopting Buffy. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required.
