Gertie's Story...
Gertie- This lovely little lady is just as sweet as she looks!! A cross between an Italian Greyhound and a Rat Terrier, she displays the best of both breeds. She is very fast and extremely playful. Gertie was a stray that wasn't claimed. She is almost completely housebroken with a good potty schedule. We think her to be between the ages of 1 to 3 but because she was a stray that's just an educated guess. Please call to meet her if you think that she would be that special addition to your family.

Please contact Cyndi Lindenmuth 570-356-2387 or Tammy Duch at 570-356-7673.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gertie, a Bloomsburg Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
