Update 11/13/12: Yoshi's update from Largo, Florida. He wanted to let you know he is 8.9 lbs. 9 years old and full of love and energy. Foster mom said I am a "feel good dog" , because you can't help but feel good when I am around. Some things about me you may want to know, I am house trained (big round of applause please). I heard a rumor that was an important issue to a lot of people. I don't know a stranger and I sure do like having the other fosters in the house to play with. I do well on a lead for walking, I'm quiet in my car seat for trips and MOST important, I love soft squeaky toys. I could sit around and squeak all day. I really would like to be home for the holidays with a nice yard to run and explore.
UPDATED BIO 11/6/12: Yoshi is a sweet 9 year old little boy who weighs approximately 9 lbs; He is being fostered in Largo, FL.
Yoshi's FM here, our veterinarian has requested that Yoshi spend a few more days under observation & treatment for his kennel cough & collapsed trachea. We're happy to say that his blood work results were good &we've also been told he's got a big appetite! We're hoping to be able to take home later this week so that we can get to know him better & he can begin settling in at home. Can't wait to give him lots of hugs & kisses! Check back soon for another update on sweet Yoshi.
INITIAL BIO 11/3/2012: Yoshi is an adorable 9 year old 9 lb little guy who is being fostered in Miami, FL. Yoshi was found as a stray, picked up and brought to a high kill shelter. The shelter was able to locate his owners, but sadly they told them to keep him. They didn't want him. We just cannot fathom how a beloved member of the family for 9 years can be cast off like this. We brought Yoshi straight to the vet yesterday, but Yoshi has a collapsed trachea which is being aggravated by kennel cough. Yoshi had to stay the night last night and will not be released until at least Monday. Please keep Yoshi and all our UYR pups in your thoughts this weekend as we hope this little boy knows he's finally loved by many many people.
