Jacob's Story...
INITIAL BIO 11/24/12: Meet Jacob! Jacob is a 4 year old 6.5 lb adorable little guy who was rescued from a high kill shelter where the only reason he wasn't adopted was because he was very matted. Jacob is now in the loving arms of his foster mom and foster dad in Punta Gorda, FL. So far we know Jacob is a lover. He loves to be petted, kissed, and hugged. He gives kisses and wants only to make you happy! He's recovering from kennel cough and still needs a dental and neuter when he feels better. Stay tuned as we get to know this little fella better. :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacob, a Hardy Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Hardy, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Hardy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hardy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hardy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hardy paves the way for another one to be saved.
