Magnolia's Story...
"Hello everybody....if you are looking for a really nice little house dog, who is very sweet, gentle and loving, then we need to get acquainted. My name is MAGNOLIA and I'm a 6-year old Chihuahua mix girl, who would love to have a new forever home with you. The Holidays are just around the corner too, and I keep dreaming about finding a new home, where I'd only need a smallish yard, where I could enjoy myself, and I'd love to have a soft, warm and snuggly dog bed in the house, so that I can always be close to my person or my family. I love and enjoy going for walks, and I love getting brushed with a soft brush, and I always enjoy those tummy rubs. I get along well with other dogs, and I I'd make a wonderful family pet. My hair is short, so you know that I am one of those easy-care ladies. I have the cutest face too....just wait until you see me. We've got great exercise yards here at the shelter; the perfect place for us to get to know one another. So come and hold me in your arms and close to your heart, and we just might fall in love with each other. I'll be watching and waiting for you, and also listening for your footsteps as they get close to my kennel. Just ask our great Shelter Staff to introduce you to the really sweet and delightfully cute little dog whose name is MAGNOLIA. Please help me make my dreams come true this Holiday season, for a wonderful forever home with you. I'm looking forward to meeting you soon. Love, Magnolia" Kennel #29

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magnolia, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
