Ruff Ruff! My name is Lizzie

Lizzie's Story...
Little Lizzie is a 23 pound Beagle/Cattledog mix, about three years old. Through no fault of her own, Lizzie has had a few different homes and seen the inside of a shelter. Since she was young, people have adopted her, traded her and moved and left her behind. When her most recent owners had to move to an apartment, they also needed to find a safe place for Lizzie . . . so contacted me. Once you meet Lizzie you will be shocked anyone could let her go for any reason at all! She is a wonderful little dog with perfect manners! She is house and crate trained, doesn’t have any bad habits and is great with kids, other dogs and cats. She isn’t even much of a barker, despite her Beagle heritage. She is a cuddler. Her favorite place in the house is wherever you are. She is content to hang with you while you sit on the couch watching a movie, but is also happy going for a long walk or a trip to the dog park. She isn't at all demanding about getting attention, but she will role over for belly rubs for as long as you are willing!

Lizzie is testament to the resilience of dogs. Despite how the world has treated her, she is loving, loyal and trustworthy and seems unscathed by her past of moving from home to home. That makes us even more determined to find her the perfect forever home; a place where she will be the center of someone's world and never again have to search for a new family!

Lizzie is up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, spayed, microchipped and on flea and heartworm preventative. If you think she's right for you, please consider being her forever person!
