Rommel von Ritz's Story...
Rommel von Ritz is a beautiful 14 month old German Shepherd. Rommel is fairly tall and needs to gain some weight. He's still a puppy in many ways and would love to enroll in an obedience training class with his new family to learn some good manners. He's very loving with people and although he alerts to other dogs on leash, once he reaches them he just wants to say hello. He's just a silly teenager right now looking for a family to love, a family who wants a happy young shepherd to mold into a model canine citizen.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rommel von Ritz, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
