Looking for a warm-hearted and happy little dog who sees her cup as half-full? Our sweet girl PINKI might be just the dog you're looking for. Pinki is a one-year-old Chihuahua mix who's looking for a new home. She loves to have fun with both people and dogs alike, and she's the perfect size for any house or apartment. Pinki loves to go for walks, exploring the wonderful world around her, and you can be sure that she loves to snuggle. She seems happy to be just about anywhere. If you like to jog, Pinki would even be a great jogging partner. She's a confident dog who's happy to be alive, and she loves to play with other dogs. She'd probably enjoying outings to the dog park. Pinki is already house trained, too. Pinki would do best in a home with older, considerate children. Please visit Pinki at the El Cajon Animal Shelter in kennel # 60, then ask our helpful staff if you can get to know her better in our lovely play yard.
Shelter Info...
We are the Animal Shelter for the City of El Cajon. We also house animals for the City of La Mesa. We take in strays and animals relinquished by their owners from these two City's only. We adopt out the animals that are not claimed by their owners. You do not have to live within the City to adopt an animal from us. We sometimes have animals other than dogs and cats.
We are located in the City of El Cajon which is east of San Diego. 1275 N. Marshall is two blocks north of Fletcher Parkway, Marshall runs parallel with the trolley tracks.
We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm. The latest we start an adoption is 4:30. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $80.00 and cats are $80.00 All other animal adoption fee's are based on the type of animal.
We do an evaluation with you and the animal to be sure that it is the best animal for you. We require that all children in the household under 9 years old be evaluated with the animal and if you are adopting a dog and you currently own a dog, your dog needs to be evaluated with the new dog to be sure they get along.
