Luna Husky's Story...
Luna has a very sad story. Her owner became very ill and could no longer care for her, so had to make the difficult choice to surrender her to rescue.

Luna is not a dog for beginners and would do best with someone who understands the Husky personality. She did not get a lot of training in her original home, so still needs some fine-tuning! She is, at nature, a good girl and not the typical escape artist Huskies can be. She is house and crate trained and has never met another dog she doesn't like. She would probably do best in a home with another dog to keep her company and be her playmate. She should not be in a home with cats.

Luna is spayed, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and on flea and heartworm preventative. Please consider making this blue-eyed beauty part of your family!

About Our Rescue Group...
Almost Home is a small private animal shelter and rescue in rural Lincoln County. We have a new, beautiful shelter on 20 acres as well as a foster home network. We pride ourselves on keeping a small, manageable number of animals at a given time, so that they receive the best care possible while waiting for their forever families. We are a no-kill shelter. All our animals are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption application, interview, home visit. It is important to us to meet all family members and current pets. Our adoption fee for dogs is $175. Our fee for cats is $110
