Jimmie's Story...
My story: Jimmie (aka Baby Kitty)- Jimmie was the runt of a litter born to a feral mother. His brother and sister were so much bigger leaving little Jimmie behind. Tragically, his family was lost by a band of raccoons but a nice lady was able to save Jimmie's life and under her care, little Jimmie put on weight and began to thrive. He is now a healthy affectionate kitten who loves to climb up and sleep on your lap. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings and sometimes curls up next to his buddy, a large American Bulldog. For a little guy that came from trauma, he is fearless and trusting and would like nothing more than a forever home who will love him and keep him safe.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
