Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This baby is very high energy yet engages very well with people. He is attentive when spoken to and is very curious about everything. Although he has a hyper streak, at night he likes to be held like a baby on his back and talked softly to. He has not been exposed to children yet but seems to welcome any new friend. He loves all dogs that he's been exposed to (5- mix of male and female, old and young) and does not try and hurt my cat at home- although, he will chase her for fun. He rides in the car well after he settles in and does not get car sick.
This is a puppy who likes to jump up for affection. He is responding well to a firm "off" command with physical correction of pushing him off. He is also a very hungry boy who eats very quickly. He was starved when I got him and is just now realizing that he gets fed 3 square meals a day and that eating is no longer a worry for him- he has slowed down while eating in the last few days. He is not entirely house trained and will eliminate near the door if he is not let out promptly BUT he is completely crate trained and goes all night in his crate with no howling, barking or accidents. No bad habits have been realized so far other than the jumping.
