Norma Jean's Story...
norma jean is a bassador.. part lab part basset.. she is approx 1 year old and 31 lbs and just as sweet and loving as can be, she loves being with people but does have a little separation anxiety if left alone, she likes to follow you where ever you are but settles down after a while, she gets on great with the other dogs and loves to run and play, she seems to be fairly well house trained and does well in the car and on the leash, she has a beautiful coat, nice and thick and with lovely colors, this is one well behaved dog with a great personality

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norma Jean, a Norwalk Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
