Zoe's Story...
Meet Zoe! She's a young adult, probably between one year and three years old. She's smaller than she looks in photos - a petite, feminine girl. Zoe is fostering in a busy household with a four year old child, six other dogs of all sizes, and a few pigs to keep her entertained! She enjoys the company of other animals but is content to snooze and explore the house by herself. She's 100% house trained, walks well on a leash, is easy to bathe, and enjoys car rides. She currently spends about four hours a day puttering around in the fenced yard. She's a super dog who was marooned at a shelter through no fault of her own. Now, she needs a forever home where she'll be treasured and receive devoted care for the rest of her life. To complete an application, learn more, and meet her - please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Zoe is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Huntsville Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
