Donner-adoption pending's Story...
Hi! My name is Donner. There were 10 of us. We were born on 10/23/12 – that’s what they say. Our mama took real good care of us and we were happy. One day our family packed us “kids” up in a big bucket and took us for a ride – it was our first car ride – we were sooo excited. We didn’t know where we were going – we thought it was just a new, exciting adventure in this big new world we had been born in. We got to this place – we didn’t know what it was but there was a lot of noise and we could feel there was a lot of unhappiness there which we really didn’t understand. They put us in a place by ourselves and we heard them talking about putting us down – we didn’t know what that meant, but by the tone of their voices, it didn’t sound like a good thing. We started feeling scared. Then there was all this excitement. The people at this place called someone – they really didn’t want to put us down, but our family didn’t want us anymore and they were not going to have a choice unless they found someone to spring us out of that place. There was good news – they found us some guardian angels. They packed us back up in that big bucket and we went to a new place. There were lots of people there. They were all excited to see us. We were getting all kinds of good attention. We soon found out this was an “adoption event”. This was a place where these nice new people were going to help us find us our forever homes. One of our brothers, Cupid, found a new home that day. We were all so excited for him. The rest of us went to our new “foster homes”, but first we talked to Santa and we all agreed that all we wanted for Christmas was our very own home. Thank you for reading our story. If you would like to meet us, please call as soon as possible. (By the way-I’m the black with a white triangle on my chest.)
