Runner (purrfect family pet)'s Story...
Approximately 2-3 years old; Very friendly & affectionate boy with a big head & fluffy tail; Runner spent a month in a high kill shelter waiting for someone to notice what a special boy he is! We did...and now you can too! His purrs-onality matches his very sweet face. He's generally a large size mellow fellow (with occassional streaks of playful mischief ). He will push his big head into your hands to signal he wants petting and has a loud purrrrr. He has no problem with other kitties (likely would be OK with a dog, too) & a very sweet demeanor with everyone he meets...he'd be fine with young children and would make the perfect family pet .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Runner (purrfect family pet), a Arlington Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
