Emma's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Emma's Story...
Emma is a shelter rescue. She had her last moments extended and luck would have it, she would be rescued by me. Described as "ferocious" and also exposed to parvo, I took one look and I "knew" that she was a healthy little girl who hated being caged. The moment she was out, she pretty much became obsessed with me giving me hugs and kisses. She loves other dogs and is okay with cats. She is a goofy girl....running around a lot and then suddenly dropping and cuddling . She would be the perfect playmate for another dog. She loves attention and walks on the leash perfectly. Emma likes rides in the car and treats too. I do not have children, but I would imagine that she would be fine with older children who are respectful of animals. Emma is a super happy girl. Her ears have "fly strike wounds" on her ears which have healed, but look slightly discolored in that area. I am hoping that with time, the discoloration will fade away. She had a mole that irritated her so I had it removed when she was spayed. The stitches on her neck will be taken out shortly with no loss of fur or problem in the area. Little Emma weighs 6.5 lbs. Her comic behaviors and loving, happy disposition will bring joy into the person's life who adopts her. If you are interested in Emma, please email me. I would love to see this precious pup get a home before Christmas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Oceanside Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Oceanside, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Oceanside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oceanside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oceanside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oceanside paves the way for another one to be saved.
