Tallulah 2's Story...
This gorgeous 6 year old, 95 pound lady is Tallulah! She is a Dogue de Bordeaux (like the Turner and Hooch dog) and is sadly in need of a new home. Tallulah's current family has grown and has found that a girl her size is a little too much with a young toddler. We have promised to help find her the wonderful forever home she deserves. Tallulah is house trained and is a very good girl. She has not spent much time with other dogs, so would probably do best as an only dog, or in a home with other laid back dogs near her size. She can be apprehensive about new people at first, particularly men, but with patience and trust she becomes a wonderful and loving companion. If you would like to learn more about this fantastic girl, please submit an online Adoption Application for Tallulah today! Her Adoption Donation is $225.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tallulah 2, a Rochester Dogue de Bordeaux/Dogue de Bordeaux dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dogue de Bordeaux/Dogue de Bordeaux for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Dogue de Bordeaux/Dogue de Bordeaux dog from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dogue de Bordeaux/Dogue de Bordeaux breeders who help with Dogue de Bordeaux/Dogue de Bordeaux rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
