McGonagal is so Soft and Silky's Story...
Hi, aren't I a gorgeous little girl? My mom was found wandering around East New York and taken in by a person who felt sorry for her. Soon after, this nice lady came home and found kittens in her closet! She called Brooklyn Animal Action, and they came and rescued us all.

My siblings and I are all grown up now and looking for homes of our own. I’m an adorable kitten, totally cuddly and with fur like velour. I love to be held, petted and cuddled. I’m great with other cats and kids (I’ve been living with a bunch of them!). I really like being around people and having a good time. I’m looking for a home with a lot of love to give, and I promise to give a lot in return!

I’m around five months old, up to date on my shots, spayed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All ready for my forever home! Maybe with you?

If you’d like to meet me, please contact Sheri, at BAAadoptions@gmail.com.

Thanks so much for thinking of a rescued kitty!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McGonagal is so Soft and Silky, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
