Zahra's Story...
Zahra's a young girl (not more than 1-1/2 yr.) and still very much a silly puppy. She's about 40 lbs. so she's not very large. We've been told that she's probably a Staffordshire Terrier from English bloodlines (longer legs). She's never met anyone that she hasn't loved. She gets along fine with other dogs, but her energy when playing, is a little much for some dogs. She loves to play fetch with balls or a toy. Zahra is wonderful with kids. We had her at a dog festival with all sorts of dogs loose and on leashes, she was being let around by a 5-yr. old girl. The only problem was the little girl was holding Zahra at the end of a 6 ft. leash and Zahra kept getting tangled in the leash because she didn't leave the girl's side. She never once went to the end of the leash to investigate anything. How's that for temperament!!! Zahra's ready for anything you'd like, whether it's snoozing on the couch with you or running a marathon. She walks fine on a leash, is crate trained, up to date with her shots, spayed and HW neg. (on preventative). She's ready to go to her furever home.

Our Adoption Process...
We ask that our adopters make a donation to help offset the medical costs associated with each animal. We have an application form and contract to be filled out and we also require a home inspection to make sure the animal to be adopted will fit into the new home. All our animals have been vetted, are up to date on shots, are on heartworm preventive, and have been spayed or neutered. At any point, if the new family can no longer care for the animal it is to be returned to us, so we can him or her a new home.
