Lucy Lu's Story...
Lucy is a beagle/jack russell terrier mix. Appx 3 years old, has been spayed, has had all her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is a very mellow and sweet girl. House trained and gets along great with other dogs and cats. We think she would make a great companion for a laid back single person or an older couple because of her mellow nature.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a group of like-minded women who are passionate about helping homeless pets. This involves rescue and rehabilitation, then helping find them loving "fur-ever" homes. We're located in central Arkansas, however transport is available to most states.

ArkanPaws Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit group. We are working toward getting our 501(c)3 non-profit status. All donations go directly to the animals' care. We're a foster based organization based in Conway, Arkansas. If you're in the immediate area, you are welcome to schedule a Meet N Greet with any of our dogs - please call or email us at least a day in advance. If you are out of area, please feel free to request a video and additional photos, as well as an extensive conversation with the foster parent who is sheltering your potential new fur friend.

Our Adoption Process...
We accept applications on the desired pet, then conduct a thorough screening process that includes talking to your vet and three personal references.

Once the application has been approved, then the dog is fully vetted, and registered with the State of Arkansas with a health certificate prior to boarding any transport. We do vaccinate and spay/neuter our animals age appropriately.
