Bert & Ernie's Info...

I am a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bert & Ernie's Story...
Bert and Ernie are currently about 10 weeks. These brothers are full of kitten energy and love to play. They were found living outside in the cold. They are now thrilled to be living inside and spoiled. They are Leukemia postiive, therefore, requiring a home with no other cats or with other cats that are positive. You would never know they have Leukmia by the way they run, jump and play. They also LOVE food! People watch your plate. Ernie loves to lay on your lap for scratchies and just to snooze. Both are super adorable and such sweet kitties. Just because they are positive is no reason to not love them....OMG they are so adorable there is no way NOT to love them! They will melt your heart!

Adoption donation is $95 each and includes their neuter at 6 months. It also includes all their boosters and rabies. They can only go to a home that can afford and handle Leukemia cats. They have no special requirements now but could in the future. A home visit my be required.

Contact Patty at 724-547-6421 or email her at to schedule a time to see these cuties and to discus a possible adoption. These kittens are NOT at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bert & Ernie, a Acme Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acme, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acme.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acme already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acme breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acme paves the way for another one to be saved.
