Dahlia's Story...
Dahlia is estimated to be around 6 months old. She was found running down a busy street missing a bunch of her fur due to a fixable case of mange. She is now healing nicely and getting her fur back! She is a petite girl only weighing 27 lbs so she would make a great little pocket pitty for your home! She loves dogs, cats and kids! She loves to cuddle! She is crate trained and we are working on getting her to to go to the door when she needs to go potty. She walks well on a leash, knows sit and is learning the lay down command! Dahlia is now available for adoption and would love to have a forever home for the holidays! She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and micro chipped. She is also current on heartworm and flea preventative. She is currently being fostered in the St Louis area but transportation is available as well.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and providing sanctuary to abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We are not a shelter as all of our rescued dogs live in foster homes where they are given enourmous amounts of love and attention while they await their forever home. Many animals are overlooked or forgotten and our goal is to give them a second chance on life and home to be loved in.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is quite simple. We ask that you complete an application on our website DigsK9.org. We are a foster based organization so special arrangements can be made for you to meet the animal you are applying for. After review of your application we will follow up with either a phone interview or a home visit. If everyone agrees that this would be a successful adoption than we make plans to finalize it.
