Luke's Story...
Luke is a 2 Year old Husky/Lab mix in need of a home. He was picked up as a stray from a high kill impound facility where he was facing death when no one came to claim him. He is now safe in rescue and looking for a home that will love him as much as he loves them. Luke has a wonderful, playful personality. He does know some basic commands and has good house manners. He is good with the other dogs however is on the mellower side, therefore the more active energetic dogs that just jump all over him tend to be a bit too much for him. He is housetrained with a schedule and use of a crate. He likes to go for walks and play with his doggy toys. If you are looking for a well mannered, affectionate dog check out Luke…..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Cokato Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cokato, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cokato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cokato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cokato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cokato paves the way for another one to be saved.
