Kuma's Story...
I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there’s just one thing I need. I don’t care much about the presents underneath the tree. I just want you for my own. Make my wish come true. All I want for Christmas is you. Please give me my forever home. I am an adorable 8 1/2 week old baby boy that was abandoned with my brother at a nursing home. My sibling has already found his forever home, now it is my turn. I am a spunky little fellow that loves to play. I adore my humans to no end and jump into any available lap whenever I can. I would love a home that has another kitty so I could have someone to play with. Please consider granting my Christmas wish, I know you won’t regret it.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797and ask about Connie’s sweet boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kuma, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
